Speeches
Yesterday we presented our speeches to the class. I think mine went well but I still think I could work on some things. Today we were tasked to do a self-reflection on our speech and then write something other people did well. I wrote my speech on Crazy Olympics and why they should be back in the Olympics. I think I did well by engaging with the audience. I also spoke loudly. I think I could have done better by speaking clearer or trying not to look nervous. I think Ella presented her speech well because she spoke clearly and knew most of it.

Wearable Arts
Last term and some of this term we have been working on wearable arts. Wearable arts is a thing where you collect a lot of rubbish and turn it into a costume. Our design was a fisherman called Martin. Martin ran a tuck and bait shop but when big fish companies came and caught all the fish he had nothing to catch besides plastic and he ended up going out of buisness. It was really fun to make and I had so much fun doing. Have you ever made a costume out of rubbish?

Sad Shrek
Hello Bloggers
This week we have been learning about idioms. Idioms are sayings e.g This was a piece of cake. We were tasked to make a story and make an animation about that story. Me and two of my friends decided to make a sad story about Shrek. It was really fun to make and I enjoyed looking at the final product. Do you know any idioms?

Amazing Aladdin
Hello Bloggers
For the last 13 weeks, some students have been doing production. The production was Aladdin. I tried out and I got put as the Sultan in group rua. For the first 3 weeks, everyone was tasked to remember all their lines which was very hard. After those first 3 weeks, we started learning dances. The dances were very easy to learn and fun to do. Once we had finished doing most of the dances we started the acting which was my favourite part. Then after 13 weeks, it was finally time to go up on stage. It was really cool to see it all come together and awesome to watch. Have you ever done production?
