Crazy Hundertwasser Art

Every Wednesday for the past three weeks we have been doing an art project. It was based on an artist called Friedensreich Hundertwasser. His style of art was he would never use straight lines and he would make his put funny lookung buildings in his art. He sometimes would put hidden faces in his art. It was also really fun looking at all the crazy pictures people had made. Can you find the hidden face?

 

Scratch

 

Hi Bloggers 

Every Friday for a couple weeks we have been making an animation using scratch. It is about weather and how to say it in Maori. It was fun to make and funny watching the characters talk. Have you made something on scratch?

Basketball bullying

Today while we were waiting to go to tech we learnt about how we can keep others safe. The teachers showed us what was happening in the picture. Our task was to draw what we think would happen next. Once we had finished that drawing we had to colour everything in. It was really fun to draw and colour everything in. What would you do if this happened to you?
 

Voki

 Today for inquiry I made a Voki. Voki is an app with characters who say what you write down. Our Voki had to be about the point of view of the British or Maori when they were signing the treaty. I chose to do the British. It was fun to make and see the different costumes and voices people could have. Have you ever made a Voki?

Pepha

This week we have been working on our pepeha. A pepeha is something about you it tells other people where you are from, what your name is and a few other things. I made it on adobe spark. Have you ever made a pepeha?

 

Code Breaker

 

At camp, we had an activity called code breaker. In the game, your group had to complete activities. Once your group had finished the activity they would answer a riddle to get on to the next activity. My favourite activity was the last one which was they safe my team was the first team to get there so we had a few attempts before the next team came luckily they got the code wrong. So it was our turn everyone was nervous but our team got the code and the chocolate. Where are you going to camp?

My Civilization

 

For inquiry this term we had to start a civilization in Minecraft but before that, we had to go around to different teachers who told us about places where we good start our civilization. The choices where the ice plains, the desert, the savannah, the wetlands, the tropical islands and different types of forest such as rainforests. I chose the tropical islands. Once we started our world we needed to make some homes, a food and water source and some clothes. Then when we had finished that we had to screenshots of our civilizations and put them on a slide and explain what they were about. This was a really fun inquiry we did this term.
